Polo Express

 

Ease into the evening with a delicately sweet after-dinner cocktail infused with soft Indian spice. The Polo Express balances chai syrup and freshly squeezed orange juice with the rich, spicy notes of the Jodhpur Polo Edition for a truly indulgent serve.

Ingredients

 

  • 60ml Royal Salute Jodhpur Polo Edition
  • 30ml Fresh Orange Juice
  • 20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 5ml Simple Syrup

Method

 

  • Muddle 3 green dry cardamom pods per serve in a mixing glass
  • Add whisky and leave to infuse for a moment
  • Add all ingredients to a cold shaker
  • Add ice and shake for 20 seconds
  • Strain into a tumbler with a chai sugar rim and ice

At its best…

Garnish with a flamed blood orange wedge and a chai sugar rim, then serve as an after dinner digestif or for a post polo match sundowner.
