The House of Quinn
by Richard Quinn

A bespoke Scotch whisky from our latest collection paying tribute to the enchanting world of Couture. The House of Quinn by Richard Quinn is the second expression in our continued partnership with acclaimed British fashion designer Richard Quinn.

With only 200 hand-blown and individually numbered crystal decanters released, The House of Quinn by Richard Quinn is a truly unique and ultra-rare collector’s item.

In tribute to Richard Quinn’s bold and contrasting design style, Royal Salute Master Blender Sandy Hyslop has created an exquisite blended malt whisky with a perfect balance of floral and oaky flavours. Each whisky included in this opulent blend was hand-selected from our rarest, high-aged casks to work in elegant harmony with one another, producing a beautifully complex final expression.

For the first time in Royal Salute’s history, this exquisite blend is housed in a stunning black crystal decanter, meticulously hand-blown by the expert craftsmen of Dartington Crystal.

To complete these truly unique pieces, a new iteration of Richard’s iconic ‘Petal and Thorns’ motif was hand-painted onto each individual decanter and delicately finished with gold leaf detailing. Every inch of the precious vessel is a tribute to the beauty, craftsmanship and rarity of Couture.

Tasting notes

NOSE

A melody of floral notes is followed by a lively burst of ripe fruits; mango, sweet banana, rich apricot jam and fresh orange zest. As the aroma develops, it delivers a scent of creamy vanilla fudge with a gentle hint of cinnamon.

PALATE

Mirroring the rich sweetness of the nose, luxurious notes of blossom honey are complemented by indulgent dark chocolate and hazelnut. In the background lingers a characteristic oak spice and a subtle hint of smoke, brought together by the flavour of syrup-soaked peaches and cream.

FINISH

Soft and long with enduring sweet oak aromas.
